Air is a nonflammable, colorless, nontoxic, odorless gas that consists of a mixture of gaseous oxygen (21%), nitrogen (78%) and other minor gaseous elements that together comprise less than one percent (1%) of the mixture. Air gas is usually shipped in cylinders as a non-liquefied gas at high pressures. Air gas is used in medical, undersea, and aerospace applications and also used for stabilizing baselines for air monitoring instruments. Spectra Gases offers high purity air gas in numerous purities.
